More crisis support meetings offered Wednesday at 1604 and Downtown Campuses

(Sept. 11, 2001)--Kathy Glash, director of counseling services at UTSA, says that services are available to offer support to all members of the UTSA community who want to talk about Tuesday's terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington D.C., and Pittsburgh.

Counseling Services, 1604 Campus, is offering crisis support meetings Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at Counseling Services, University Center Room 2.10.04 (above and to the left of Subway). Counseling Services hours at the 1604 Campus are Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Tuesday and Wednesday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Call their 1604 Campus office at 458-4140.

Campus Counseling Services, Downtown Campus, will offer a crisis support meeting Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 1 p.m. in Durango Building Room 3.304. Downtown Counseling Services hours are Monday through Thursday 8-4 p.m. and Friday 8 to 11:30 a.m. Call their Downtown Campus office at 458-2930.

Glash added that if members of the UTSA community need support at times other than these group times, they should call or come by the offices. Professional staff are standing by to assist with those who may want to talk.
