Week of Welcome Continues with Roadrunner Day and Special Events
(Aug. 27, 2001)--UTSA President Ricardo Romo proclaimed Monday, Aug. 27, as Roadrunner Day across the Tri-Campuses, as the Week of Welcome continues. Romo encouraged faculty, staff and students to show their Roadrunner pride by wearing orange and blue in support of the first day of classes, as new and returning students are welcomed to campus.
To help show your true colors, orange T-Shirts are available for $7 (including tax) at the 1604 and Downtown Campus bookstores and the Institute of Texan Cultures gift shop.
Also on Monday, August 27, all UTSA faculty, staff, students and their families are invited to celebrate the start of the new academic year at the President's All-Campus Fall Celebration and Roadrunner Camp Reunion.

Hosted by President Ricardo Romo and his wife, Dr. Harriett Romo, the event will feature food, fun, games and live entertainment and is an opportunity to meet UTSA faculty and staff. A performance by musician Bret Graham will highlight the evening. For more information, call 458-4129.
