United Way campaign deadline draws near

(Dec. 5, 2001)--The SECC United Way campaign is coming to a close, and a few employees may not have had a chance to send in their pledge cards and materials. As we approach the Monday, Dec. 10 deadline the campaign is very close to reaching its goal.

Doris Campa, UTSA director of materials management and United Way campus coordinator, said, "We are so close to reaching our campaign goal. We urge each staff member who hasn't responded to make certain they have forwarded their United Way pledge card to me."

"We also want to thank those who have responded thus far," Campa added.

Employees have until Dec. 10 for payroll deduction in January. Those who decide not to give still need to turn in their packets with the books inside.
