Faculty Member To Be Featured in Two Local Broadcasts
Suzanne Winter, associate professor of early childhood education, will talk about the importance of early childhood education in two separate media interviews.
At 6:15 p.m. on July 25, she will appear on Catholic TV's "Day to Day" segment, and at 8 a.m. Sept. 12, she will be interviewed on WOAI radio.
Winter received a grant from the City of San Antonio to assess the kindergarten readiness of the city's children ages 3-5 in local child care facilities.
More than 115 UTSA undergraduates in early childhood classes and graduate counseling students also were involved in assessing and evaluating the children.
