UT System Announces Employee Holiday Schedule for New Fiscal Year
The Fiscal Year 2002 Holiday Schedule was submitted to UT System Associate Director Gerald Schroeder and received his approval. The schedule includes the UTSA 1604 Campus, Downtown Campus and Institute of Texan Cultures.

Thanksgiving Day -- Thursday, November 22, 2001
Thanksgiving Holiday -- Friday, November 23, 2001
Christmas Eve Day -- Monday, December 24, 2001
Christmas Day -- Tuesday, December 25, 2001
Day After Christmas -- Wednesday, December 26, 2001

Floating Holiday Hours -- 16 Hours **
* Sufficient personnel must be present to conduct official public business. Personnel comprising the skeleton work force will be granted compensatory time in lieu of the holiday.
** Full-time regular employees may use up to 16 floating holiday hours. These hours may be scheduled at anytime during the fiscal year with prior approval of the employee's immediate supervisor. Regular employees appointed for less than 40 hours per week will receive floating holiday entitlement proportionate to the number of hours worked.
A state employee is entitled to observe Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Good Friday in lieu of any holiday or holidays on which the institution is required to be open and staffed to conduct public business.
With no unused holiday time allocated to enhance vacation accruals this year, employee will accrue vacation time at the rate set by the General Appropriations Act. Access the file in Adobe PDF format.
