Teaching and Learning Center Announces Next Workshop
World Wide Web enthusiasts are invited to improve their skills with a workshop
entitled
"Basic Web Development II: More of the Basics" from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
June 22 in the Business Building Room 3.03.04 on the 1604 Campus.
Cheryl Fulkerson, associate professor of accounting, will make the presentation.
In order to take the class "Basic Web Development I" or an equivalent
must already be completed.
Prior to the workshop attendees are asked to become familiar with the glossary
of terms provided by the Center for Distance Learning and Academic Technology.
Participants are asked to bring these items to the workshop: one 3.5"
floppy disk (formatted for IBM PC) containing the home page & syllabus
created in BWD I, a scanned image of the participant (JPG format), and web
addresses for two to five Web sites related to the participant's field of
expertise.
For assistance in scanning the photograph, visit the New Media Lab (MS 3.02.28) or Faculty Resource Center (BB 4.02.68). The size of the digital image should be approximately 200 pixels high x 150 pixels wide.
