UTSA Hosts Hong Kong Polytechnical University Students
UTSA's College of Business is hosting five accounting students from Hong Kong Polytechnical University during the first summer session. The students, who have finished their sophomore year in Hong Kong, are taking two courses in accounting and business finance.
Members of this group include Lo Ka Yee, Pak Kam Tuen, Suen Chau Kam, Wu Hang
Sang and Yau Ka Kui.
"Hong Kong Polytechnical University was interested in expanding their
business program to include international experiences for their students,"
said James Groff, interim coordinator of the college's international programs.
"UTSA was chosen as a partner institution and the students received scholarships
to study here this summer. Hopefully as a result of this experience, we will
be able to expand this partnership to allow students from UTSA to study during
the summer in Hong Kong."
During their visit the students will also tour local accounting firms and
cultural sites.
