Latino Heritage Week events continue through Friday

(Sept. 20, 2001)--Latino Heritage Week continues through Friday, Sept. 21 at the UTSA Downtown Campus. A lowrider car show, a performance by Ballet Folklorico and "Ojos de Dios" craftmaking are featured events. 1604 Campus events ended Wednesday.

Thursday, September 20
10 a.m.- 2 p.m. -- "Chicano!" video, Commons Area, Frio Street Building.
10 a.m.- 2 p.m. -- "Hispanic Americans" video, Durango Building, Student Community Room, 1st floor.

Events at Durango Building Student Center, 1st floor, sponsored by CAB:
1-3 p.m. -- Refreshments: Fruit Cups and Aguas Frescas
1- 2 p.m. -- Ballet Folklorico
2-3 p.m. -- Mariachi Festival

Friday, September 21
8-11:30 p.m. -- "El Baile" Dance, Frio Street Building, 3rd floor terrace, sponsored by BESO.
