

Downtown Campus hosts Asian Pacific Islander Week
(April 22, 2002)-- The UTSA Downtown Campus will host Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Week April 22-25. The events, organized by the Office of Student Leadership and Cultural Programs, include Japanese dance and dress demonstrations, a fortune cookie contest, food sampling, origami, feng shui demonstration, art display, crafts and a ping pong competition.
All events will be held in the Durango Building Student Center and are free and open to the public. The schedule of events follows.
