Seven hundred university community members and their families attended Monday evening's Fall Celebration, hosted by President Ricardo Romo.

UTSA's Week of Welcome continues through Aug. 29. with events including the first annual Fall Convocation (Aug. 28) and MTV "Real World" cast at the Howdy Rowdy Bash (Aug. 29). The newest event of the week, the Fall Convocation will feature a procession of faculty in academic regalia and staff in regalia or the orange and blue UTSA colors. The ceremony will be followed by receptions at the various UTSA colleges.

MTV "Real World" cast members are coming to the UTSA 1604 Campus Convocation Center at 7 p.m. Aug. 29. Sponsored by CAB and the Learning Communities program, the group will discuss a variety of issues including diversity, multiculturalism and relationships. The former cast members of the popular program will also answer questions from the audience about themselves and the show, followed by the Howdy Rowdy Bash. VOICES is sponsoring a school supplies drive during the event. Organization members remind participants to bring school supplies to the event to donate. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Show your Roadrunner Spirit by wearing an Orange Crush T-shirt. The T-shirts are available for $8 at the 1604 Campus and Downtown Campus bookstores.
