President's performance of Madrigal Dinner draws capacity crowd
(Dec. 10, 2002)--The president's special performance of the UTSA Department of Music's annual Madrigal Dinner drew a capacity crowd Sunday, Dec. 8 in the Multidisciplinary Studies Building Kiva on the 1604 Campus.
Performances of this year's production, "Home for the Holidays: Christmas 1945," continue Dec. 13 and 14 with a theme that jumps back in time to post-World War II San Antonio. Proceeds from the dinners benefit the UTSA Music Scholarship Fund.
Pictured above at the event, UTSA Associate Professor Harriett Romo (center) is joined by dinner co-hosts (from left) Pauleen Netting, Ann Biggs, Winifred Cocke and Peter Hennessey.
Tickets, including a catered dinner, are $40 and $50. For ticket reservations, call the Department of Music at (210) 458-4355.
