
UTSA students, alumni receive class rings at Dec. 5 ceremony
(Dec. 11, 2002)--Nearly 300 juniors, seniors and alumni were presented with their class rings Dec. 5 in a ceremony in the Arts Building Recital Hall on the 1604 Campus sponsored by the Alumni Association and the Student Alumni Association. UTSA President Ricardo Romo said in opening remarks that he is proud of all that UTSA students have accomplished and hopes that they will always think of their alma mater as home.
James Mickey, 1978 graduate and former vice president of the UTSA Alumni Association, served as master of ceremonies. Rosalie Ambrosino, vice president for student affairs, and Albert Estrada, 1983 graduate and president of the Alumni Association, presented the rings to the students.
