
American studies program sponsors Dec. 4 peace forum
(Dec. 2, 2002)--The UTSA American Studies Program is the sponsor of "Everything Comes Next: A Forum For Peace" from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, in Science Building Room 2.03.08 at the UTSA 1604 Campus. The seminar is free and open to the public.
The event will include poetry and commentary from panelists Cary Clack, San Antonio Express-News columnist; Brian Davies, UTSA associate professor of history; Tom Keene, San Antonio scholar, teacher and activist; and Naomi Shihab Nye, San Antonio writer and activist. Nye is author of "19 Varieties of Gazelle: Poems of the Middle East," a National Book Award finalist.
