(Dec. 19, 2002)--The new Campus Recreation Center will open on the UTSA 1604 Campus at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2003. Faculty and staff can sign up for membership beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8 at the Campus Recreation Center Control Desk (REC 1.102). Students are members by paying the recreation and wellness fee billed with tuition.

Payment can be made by cash, check, credit card or payroll deduction. Payroll deduction forms will be available Jan. 2 at the Campus Recreation Web site. Completed payroll deduction forms should be presented when signing up for membership.

Lockers at the new facility can be rented by students, faculty and staff on a monthly basis. A half-sized locker and towel service costs $5 per month and a full-sized locker and towel service costs $9 per month.
