Surplus property offered for sale through sealed-bid auction

(Dec. 4, 2002)--The university is disposing of surplus property through a sealed-bid sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 6 in the Central Receiving Warehouse on West Campus, off Margaret Tobin Avenue. Items can be viewed from 9 to 10 a.m. Dec. 6 before bidding begins.

With bargains to be found, the UTSA faculty, staff and students and the general public are invited to stop by and place bids on items such as desks, conference and coffee tables, chairs (guest, side, secretarial, stacking), file cabinets, audio/video equipment, cameras, vehicles, jewelry, lab equipment and lost-and-found and other miscellaneous items.

Bids will be awarded every half hour and winners must be present for the award. Payment is due at the time of purchase and can be made with cash, personal check or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover).

All purchased items must be removed from UTSA property no later than Monday, Dec. 9. There will be no assistance available for loading, and items cannot be picked up on Saturday or Sunday.
