Census official to speak on changes in Hispanic population

(Feb. 13, 2002)--Gloria Gutierrez, assistant director of marketing and customer liaison for the U.S. Census Bureau, will speak at the University of Texas at San Antonio Downtown Campus at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15 about the 2000 Census and demographic changes in the Hispanic population over the last decade.

Her presentation, sponsored by the UTSA Hispanic Research/Metropolitan Research and Policy Center, is free and open to the public. It will be held in Durango Building Room 3.216.
