UTSA names 110 students to National Who's Who
(Feb. 5, 2002)--The University of Texas at San Antonio has chosen a record 110 recipients for inclusion in Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities for 2001-02.
Now in its 68th year nationally, the Who's Who program comprises honorees from 1,900 participating colleges and universities. An institution's number of recipients is based on total enrollment, which is just under 20,000 students at UTSA. Only juniors, seniors and graduate students can be nominated.
UTSA's recipients include 66 seniors, 25 juniors and 19 graduate students. In addition to scholarship, the largest single common characteristic of the 110 honorees is their record of extra-curricular service.
