Business scholarship applications are now available

(Jan. 31, 2002)--UTSA College of Business students interested in a reprieve from tuition bills can now apply for over 40 College of Business scholarships. Applications are available in the College of Business Undergraduate Advising Office, Business Building Room 2.02.04.

For the 2001-2002 academic year, 44 scholarships totaling $63,300 were awarded. There are 27 different active scholarships within the College of Business.

To qualify for the scholarships, recipients must be enrolled in the College of Business and a declared major; be actively pursuing a degree and in good academic standing; have completed a minimum of 45 semester credit hours with a 3.0 grade point average; and be enrolled as a full-time student (12 hours for undergraduates, 9 hours for graduates).

Scholarship applications must be submitted by Friday, Feb. 15 to the College of Business Undergraduate Advising Office. Awards will be distributed beginning Fall 2002 and are divided equally between the fall and spring semesters. Students can earn more than one award.
