UTSA begins registration for leadership institute
(July 15, 2002)--The University of Texas at San Antonio is accepting registrations for the Fifth Annual Summer Institute for Leadership and Stewardship, which will be Aug. 14-16 at the Downtown Campus.
Participants will explore many dimensions of leadership, including the unique responsibilities shouldered by leaders of nonprofit organizations.
Highlights will include Vicki Clark, Drucker Foundation Training Team, exploring "The Importance of Mission," Dorinda Rolle's workshop on "Who Moved My Cheese?" and UTSA Associate Dean for the College of Business Robert Lengel's session on "Fusion Leadership."
Richard Lewis, recently named UTSA's inaugural Presidential Fellow,
will lead a session on diversity and multiculturalism.
Designed for staff and volunteers of nonprofit organizations who want to manage
and lead the nonprofits of tomorrow, the institute is the first component
of a unique certification program offered by UTSA.
Registration is limited to the first 30 respondents. Cost for the institute
is $395. Participants who elect to enroll in the UTSA Certification in Nonprofit
Management and Leadership Program will receive a discount. To learn more about
