Judge Nelson Wolff to speak June 11 at COLFA fund-raiser
(June 7, 2002)--The UTSA College of Liberal and Fine Arts Advisory Council, Department of English, Classics and Philosophy and the Department of Communication Academic Committee will present a fund-raising event, "Let's Play Hardball with Judge Nelson Wolff," a discussion of county and city politics and Wolff's passion for baseball. The fund-raiser will be at 11:45 a.m., Tuesday, June 11 at Gallagher's Steakhouse in the Quarry Market.
Proceeds will benefit the Hitting a Home Run for the UTSA Department of Communication Student Scholarship Fund, with the goal of raising $7,000. Tables for four can be reserved for $500 apiece and individual seats can be reserved for $125 each. The tables or individual seats include the participants' choice of one of Wolff's two books, "Mayor" or "Baseball for Real Men."
