Meditation seminar offers techniques to calm the mind

(March 19, 2002)--As the end of the semester approaches, everyday stresses may become more apparent to many of the campus community, whether student, faculty or staff. So, a seminar to teach you how to calm your mind may be just what you need.

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is sponsoring "The Art of Living," a seminar on calming the mind through yoga, breathing and meditation techniques, from 6-7:15 p.m. March 21 in the University Center Laurel Room (2.01.28) on the UTSA 1604 Campus. The seminar is free and open to the public.

The guided meditation and introductory talk will be conducted by Patricia Montella and Digvijay Choudhari. For more information e-mail Ashish Khamkar, or call Dean or Shirley Harminson at (210) 525-1843 or Sister Bernadette at (210) 525-1843. Visitors can park for free in Lot 6.
