Deadline approaches for completion of online compliance training
(May 15, 2002)--The Compliance office announced earlier in the year that the quarterly deadlines originally set for completion of mandatory online compliance training modules were no longer in effect.
A single deadline of May 31 has been set for completion of all training modules for the 2001-02 fiscal/academic year. Supervisors are responsible for ensuring that their employees have completed the required training modules by the new deadline.
For this year, only benefits-eligible employees are required to complete the modules; this may change next year, however. If there are non-benefits eligible employees in your group report, those individuals may already have completed some of the courses, and they were left in the system as a result.
New employees will be entered into the Training Post system on an ongoing basis and will have approximately three months in which to complete the modules.
To verify that you have completed all the modules assigned to you, go to the Compliance Office's Training Post Web site. Click "Start Online Training" and log in.
The screen that appears will list your modules. Look for a completion notation by each title.
