Student theater group members say, 'The play's the thing!'
(Nov. 5, 2002)--Earlier in the semester members of the Alamo City Actors Guild participated in the student organization information fair at the Sombrilla Plaza on the 1604 Campus. The UTSA student theater group, like other organizations, is always seeking new members. In this case, members would act in and do backstage work for their productions.
The group is now presenting "Boy Gets Girl," a two-act drama, Nov. 4-7, 8 and 13-15. The Nov. 4-7 performances will be 7 p.m. and the Nov. 8 performance 4 p.m., all in the University Center Retama Auditorium (2.02.02) at the 1604 Campus. The Nov. 13-15 performances will be 7 p.m. in the Buena Vista Street Building Theater at the Downtown Campus.
The play, recommended for mature audiences, is a chilling look at a woman's life and the invasion of her privacy by an unwanted admirer.
Tickets are $5, $4 for students, and are available at the ticket office in the University Center at the 1604 Campus or at the door.
For more information, call (210) 313-8310 or visit the Alamo City Actors Guild Web site.
