College of Business hires director of graduate student services

(Nov. 6, 2002)--John Clark has been named the new Director of Graduate Student Services for the University of Texas at San Antonio College of Business.

He previously served as a graduate business career officer in the College of Business. In this new role, he will assist the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Research in overseeing the recruitment, admission, enrollment and advising of graduate students. He will also strive to improve the visibility and prestige of the graduate programs in the College of Business.

Clark received his master's in business administration degree from UTSA in 1993 and has experience working in training and workforce development.

"Hiring a full-time director of graduate student services is a first for the College of Business," said Donde Plowman, associate dean of graduate studies and research. "It is further evidence of the college's commitment to improving the quality of services that we offer our graduate students. John brings a wealth of experience and energy to our program."
