Hillel to celebrate the menorah lights Dec. 2

(Nov. 26, 2002)--In observance of Hanukkah, Hillel at UTSA will sponsor "Celebrating the Menorah and its Lights in Narrative" from 6-8:30 p.m. Dec. 2 on the 1604 Campus in the University Center Laurel Room (2.01.28).

In addition to a display of menorahs, which are ceremonial candelabras, there will be music, folk dancing, songs, door prizes and Hanukkah stories shared by a rabbi and other guests. A buffet of traditional Hanukkah foods, including latkes (potato pancakes) will be provided.

The event is free and open to all members of the Tri-Campus community, their families and friends.
