Bestfest is canceled due to rainy weather
(Oct. 24, 2002)--Due to weather conditions, tomorrow's Bestfest Screamfest has been canceled. The Campus Activities Board (CAB) apologizes for any inconvenience.
Originally scheduled for Friday, Oct. 25, the annual fund-raiser for UTSA registered organizations is usually held at the Sombrilla on the 1604 Campus. Organizations raise money by selling food and beverage items, and have activities such as a pumpkin decorating contest and live music.
The weather also brought today's cancellation of Alcohol Awareness Week activities at the Sombrilla.
Participating organizations will be called by a CAB representative concerning the return of booth deposits and fees.
