Nominations requested for 'Who's Who Among Students'
(Oct. 9, 2002)--The nomination process has begun to select outstanding junior, senior and graduate students at UTSA for membership in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Whos Who is a national program established in 1934 for the purpose of recognizing and honoring students who demonstrate outstanding achievement during their collegiate careers. Rosalie Ambrosino, vice president for student affairs, asks that UTSA faculty and staff assist in the nominating process to recognize deserving students.
The following qualities should be considered in making nominations: scholarship, leadership, participation in extracurricular and academic activities, and service to the university and the local community.

2. Junior and senior students must be enrolled for a minimum of nine hours at the time of nomination.
3. Graduate students must be enrolled for a minimum of six hours at the time of nomination.
4. Each nominee will be sent an application to his or her mailing address listed in the University Student Information System.
5. A complete list of all students nominated will be posted outside the Student

1.02.08, 1604 Campus, until Nov. 16, 2002.
