Broadway Bank CEO to speak Sept. 24 at Signature Series

(Sept. 20, 2002)--Jim Goudge, chairman and CEO of Broadway Bank, will present the keynote address during the M.B.A. Association Signature Series at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 24 in the Regents Room (4.03.12) in the John Peace Library Building at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Goudge will discuss "The Role of a Community Bank." The event is sponsored by the M.B.A. Association in UTSA's College of Business and is free and open to the public.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Goudge has worked for the National Bank of Commerce, Allied American Bank and Kelly Field National Bank, prior to joining Broadway Bank as lending division manager in 1989. He was named president and CEO in 1998 and promoted to chairman and CEO in 2001. Goudge serves on the board of directors of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the board of trustees for St. Mary's University and serves on the campaign cabinet for the South Texas Centre.

The M.B.A. Association is a student organization for UTSA graduate business students. The association provides graduate students a venue for continued professional development, networking and community awareness.
