Office of Graduate Studies hosts recruitment fair
(Sept. 27, 2002)--Representatives from more than 50 universities will participate in UTSA's annual graduate recruitment fair which will be 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 8 at the 1604 Campus in the foyer of the Humanities and Social Sciences Building.
All who wish to pursue a graduate degree are invited to take advantage of this free opportunity to learn more about professional, master's and doctoral programs at UTSA and other institutions, including Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, Penn State, UT Austin, Johns Hopkins, Pepperdine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Texas Tech, New Mexico State, the University of Michigan and the University of Tulsa.
In addition to providing specifics about academic programs, representatives at the fair will offer admissions and career counseling advice, plus tips on financing a graduate education. The first 500 participants will receive free T-shirts and a chance to win other door prizes. All participants will receive free popcorn and other giveaways.
UTSA now has 35 master's and seven doctoral programs. The graduate application deadline for spring 2003 is Nov. 1. For more information, contact the Office of Graduate Studies at (210) 458-GRAD (4723).
