Students at UTSA -- are you comfortable with or exploring your sexual identity? The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Group is now forming. Come be part of a group where you can share your life experiences; examine issues such as coming out, homophobia, and heterosexism; define your personal identity; explore your relationships with others and create a supportive environment for each other. This group provides a safe and confidential environment for enrolled UTSA students and there is no cost.
UTSA students are invited to join the Womens Personal Growth Group. The support group is targeted at helping participants explore womens issues. Are you interested in receiving feedback and support from other women about self-esteem, body image, relationships, dealing with responsibilities and stress, and defining your identity as a woman? This new group provides a safe and confidential environment for current UTSA students. The first meeting is 5-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1.
UTSA first-generation college students are invited to join the Gen
1 Support Group, targeted at helping Gen 1 students succeed. If
you are the first member of your family to pursue a college degree and you
would like to receive support from others regarding the challenges and demands
of college, this group provides a safe and confidential environment for enrolled
UTSA students.
