UTSA Department of Music presents 'Percussion Alumni Concert' April 14
(April 3, 2003)--The UTSA Percussion and Steel Drum Ensemble will present the first "Percussion Alumni Concert" at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 14 in the Arts Building Recital Hall on the 1604 Campus.
UTSA music graduates will join the ensemble in a finale piece, "City Soca," by Arthur Lipner.
The concert is free and open to the public.
The program includes a variety of music including a novelty selection, "Pulp Friction;" "Equal Fire" by Texas composer Paul Bissell and an arrangement by David Steinquest for the mallet ensemble of "Metric Lips" by Bela Fleck.
