As part of an organization dedicated to customer service, the team of audio-visual technical staff at the Center for Distance Learning and Academic Technology provide consistent support to faculty, staff and students on a daily basis. Characteristic of the team is their patience in teaching new and existing faculty on the use of classroom technology and their ability to answer several questions and calls simultaneously -- within the 15-minute window between classes.

The team provides support to administrative offices including human resources training, executive meetings, off-campus video and audio support for the Office of the President, commencement ceremonies and special events.

Anytime there is a sound system playing at the Sombrilla Plaza, you can bet that the team has been involved. They are present weekdays and many Saturdays and Sundays at the 1604 and Downtown campuses provide projection system support, computer support in classrooms and sound reinforcement.

The next time you attend a UTSA seminar, class, public address or special event, think of the technical support team from the Center for Distance Learning and Academic Technology. Chances are good they prepared and assisted in providing technology services for the event.

Thanks to the team for their efforts and dedication to the entire UTSA community!
