
Renovated UTSA dining facilities set to open Aug. 11, 18
(Aug. 5, 2003)--Renovations to UTSA food service areas proceed as a roll-out of new concepts and menus approaches. As of Aug. 1, University Food Services is operated by Chartwells College & University Dining Services.
According to Corinne Vela-Zapata, director of UTSA business services, the Bistro in the Business Building on the 1604 Campus and the Downtown Campus food court will be open for full service Monday, Aug. 11 with new looks and tastes. New food services at the University Center and John Peace Library Building food courts on the 1604 Campus are set to premiere Aug. 18.

The UC facility will include Subway; Mama Yeh's traditional Chinese food and sushi bar; Au Bon Pain gourmet soups; Double Treat Bakery; Outtakes grab-and-go sandwiches, salads and wraps and Ratazza regular and flavored coffees.

The refurbished JPL food court will include Route 90 old-fashioned, made-to-order burgers and fries; Trattoria pizzas, strombolis and calzones; Newman's Own Pasta; Pacific Rim stir-fry; Market Carvery comfort and hot-plate foods; Mr. B's hot and cold sandwiches and wraps; Au Bon Pain gourmet soups; Ortega Nacho Bar; Bent Fork Potato Bar; Sabrett's hot dogs and toppings; Krispy Kreme doughnuts; Double Treat Bakery; Ratazza coffees and Outtakes grab-and-go.
The John Peace Library Building food court is open for limited service during construction 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Friday.
