UTSA faculty and staff parking-permit form available now
(Aug. 18, 2003)--UTSA faculty and staff can download the "parking permit application 2004" form in Outlook Public Folders. Faculty and staff members are required to display new parking permits by Sept. 1.
Find the form in Outlook at Public Folders/All Public Folders/UTSA Forms/Police Department. Send completed forms by campus mail to the UTSA Police Parking Office, 1604 Campus. Permits will be distributed by campus mail. Forms filled out incompletely are rejected.
The form also is available at the UTSA Police Department, Multidisciplinary Studies Building Room 1.02.38. Office hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
To elect payroll deduction, be sure to indicate on the form "pre-tax" or "after-tax" deduction. A choice of "pre-tax" reduces the taxes taken out of the paycheck.
If not electing a payroll deduction for a parking permit, payment must be made in person at Fiscal Services (either Downtown Campus or 1604 Campus office) with the exceptions of the 24-hour reserved permit and the Downtown Campus garage permit. The Downtown Campus Office of Fiscal Services is at Frio Street Building Room 1.508; The 1604 Campus Office of Fiscal Services is around the corner from the elevators on the first floor of the John Peace Library Building.
The 24-Hour Reserved Permit is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Indicate on the form a choice of lot 1, 3 ,4, 6, 9, WC or RWC.
Downtown Campus Garage Permit applications are accepted at the Downtown Campus Office of Fiscal Services beginnning Aug 20. Available on a first-come, first served basis, permits will be distributed by campus mail the week of Aug. 25. Garage applications are accepted only at the Downtown Campus fiscal services office. Send applications by campus mail to the Office of Fiscal Services, Downtown Campus. Those who had a garage permit last year are not guaranteed the same space.
UTSA faculty and staff members with outstanding citations will not be issued
a parking permit until citations are paid. No appeals will be accepted
for citations more than14 days old.
