UTSA celebrates Engineering Week with exhibits, lab tours
(Feb. 19, 2003)--The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Engineering will host an open house from 1-4 p.m. Thursday as a part of a week-long schedule of events during Engineering Week 2003. The open house will feature engineering faculty and students providing laboratory tours and discussing exhibits on display.

C. Mauli Agrawal, director of the UTSA/UTHSCSA biomedical engineering program, was the keynote speaker at a breakfast Monday honoring the Young Engineer of the Year.
Later in the week, area high school students toured the UTSA College of Engineering laboratories. Engineering faculty and graduate students provided tours of the environmental, geotechnical and control and robotics labs to give the students insight into educational opportunities and engineering careers.
