Frito Lay executive to speak at MBA Association Signature Series
(Feb. 20, 2003)--Angel Rodriguez, vice president of staffing and diversity at Frito Lay, will speak on "Will Work for Fritos: Tips from an HR Executive" for the M.B.A. Association Signature Series at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 27 in the University Room (2.01.06) in the Business Building at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
The event is sponsored by the M.B.A. Association in UTSA's College of Business and is free and open to the public.
Rodriguez received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Connecticut. He joined Pepsi-Cola as a human resources manager in Houston and later moved to Pepsi's world headquarters in Somers, N.Y. as a senior human resources manager.
From 1997 to 2000, he served as human resources director for Frito-Lay's South Texas Region based in San Antonio until his promotion to vice president. He serves as chair of the corporate advisory board for the National Society of Hispanic M.B.A.s and as a board member for Dallas International and INROADS Central Texas.
The M.B.A. Association is a student organization for UTSA graduate business
