Southwest Guitar Festival to feature Los Angeles Guitar Quartet
(Jan. 16, 2003)--The University of Texas at San Antonio Department of Music presents the 2003 Southwest Guitar Festival (SWGF) Jan. 29-Feb. 2, 2003. The festival will feature renowned musicians from around the world performing and teaching at several venues in San Antonio.

The SWGF was started in 1991 by guitar professors at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Southwest Texas State University and the University of Texas-Austin as a regional classical guitar festival for students and enthusiasts of guitar music in South Texas and the surrounding regions and has become one of the leading biennial guitar festivals in the world. This year's festival includes performances by seven soloists and three ensembles.
Tickets can be purchased individually or in three packages. Registration is also available for master classes and a vendor fair, as well as the concerts.
