Students head down road to academic success at Downtown Campus
(Jan. 23, 2003)--Students head down the red brick road to academic success toward the Frio Street Building at the UTSA Downtown Campus.
Marking its fifth anniversary this academic year, the UTSA Downtown Campus is home to more than 4,400 students. It is a full-service educational resource located in the heart of San Antonio at the intersection of Durango Boulevard and Frio Street.
With three general academic buildings completed, the campus can accommodate up to 6,500 students in day, evening or weekend classes. Fifteen undergraduate and five graduate degree programs are offered on-site.
Campus features include a 19,000-square-foot library, a 150-seat computer lab, a professional quality theater, an art gallery, student activities center and campus dining facilities.
The campus also includes a four-level parking garage. Construction is progressing rapidly on a permanent home for the UTSA Institute for Economic Development, now in temporary quarters at KellyUSA.
