UTSA offers ACT, SAT workshops for high school students

(Jan. 24, 2003)--The University of Texas at San Antonio will offer workshops at the Downtown Campus to aid high school students in preparing for the ACT and SAT examinations.

Workshop participants will receive six hours of general test, math and verbal strategies appropriate for each test.

ACT workshops will be 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Jan. 25 and March 22.

SAT workshops will be 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 22 and March 1.

The cost is $55 per workshop. Lunch is not included in the fee. Preregistration is required, and space is limited.

The workshops are offered as part of the K-16 Initiatives/Honors College community education and professional development initiative.
