Campus Recreation offers new membership plan
(July 22, 2003)-Campus Recreation has a new membership category for full-time and part-time faculty and staff employees who make less than $20,000 annually. The fee for employees in this category is $10 a month and may be set up on payroll deduction or paid with cash, check or credit card at the Recreation and Wellness Center Front Desk. All memberships are month-to-month, with no contract to sign.
Employee's total income, both at UTSA and off campus, must be less than $20,000 annually, to qualify for this rate.
Faculty and staff Members earning between $20,000 and $25,000 will pay $20 a month and faculty and staff with salaries higher than $25,000 will pay $26 a month.
The center will be closed July 23-25 for annual maintenance. The wood floor in the gymnasium will be re-finished, preventive maintenance on the cardio and weight room equipment and other maintenance projects will also take place.
