UTSA department sponsors July 18 fund-raiser golf tourney

(July 15, 2003)--The UTSA Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies will sponsor its first annual scholarship golf tournament Friday, July 18, at Canyon Springs Golf Club.

To participate in the scholarship fund-raiser, download a registration form at the tournament Web site. The tournament is open to all, and each participant will receive a golf shirt.

"Our goal is to provide a great time for participants in supporting the development of future school leaders," said tournament organizer Alan Shoho, UTSA associate professor of educational leadership and policy studies. "Everyone who participates will leave the event as a winner."

UTSA faculty, staff, students, employees and significant others will receive a discounted entry fee if they play as a team. The discounted fee is $75 per person, instead of the full price of $125. Participants have the option to enter individually and then be assigned to a team.

For more information, e-mail Alan Shoho or call 210-458-5411.
