UTSA staff and friends volunteer at Texas Folklife Festival
(June 6, 2003)--The Texas Folklife Festival opened Thursday night after rainy skies cleared in the afternoon. A breeze kept the crowds cool as they sampled foods from more than 40 cultural groups and enjoyed music, dance, storytelling and other activities.
The festival runs through Sunday, June 8, at the Institute of Texan Cultures in downtown San Antonio.
