UTSA engineering technology contest winners

UTSA recognizes engineering technology contest winners

(June 13, 2003)--The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Engineering and Texas Society of Professional Engineers recently hosted an engineering technology contest at the 1604 Campus.

More than 100 area high school students participated in the event designed to provide high school students with practical projects that support engineering education.

Competitions included an egg-rocket launch, Web page design and the Lego Mindstorm robotics project.

UTSA's College of Engineering, which is two years old, is ranked among the top 50 in the country.
