
Sciences advising center hosts MCAT information session
(June 10, 2003)--The UTSA College of Sciences Advising Center will host a Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) information session at 2 p.m. June 19 in Science Building Room 2.02.02 on the 1604 Campus. Check-in is at 1:45 p.m.
The session is open to anyone interested in learning about the MCAT and the application process for medical school.
To reserve a seat, call (210) 458-4045 or go to the College of Sciences Advising Center in Science Building Room 2.01.08. Seating is limited.

- How to apply to take the MCAT
- Cost of MCAT
- Subject areas on the exam
- Courses that should be completed prior to the MCAT
- How component score is determined
- Availability, locations and cost of preparation programs
- Availability and cost of practice testing
- When to take the MCAT in your application timeline
- How many times you can take the MCAT and who sees the multiple scores
- Medical admissions attitudes toward multiple scores
- Services available at the Health-Related Professions Office
