UTSA students can take Quick TASP test July 11
(June 25, 2003)--A Quick TASP test only for UTSA students will be administered at 8:30 a.m. July 11 at the UTSA 1604 Campus. Advance registration is required; the location of the test is given upon registering.
To register, go to Business Services Annex Room 1.01.12 with two checks or money orders -- one for $15 made payable to "UTSA" and the second for $29 made payabe to "NES."
The Texas Academic Skills Program (TASP) test, mandated in 1987 by Texas Education Code 51.306, provides information about students' reading, mathematics and writing skills. All students entering a Texas public college or university are required to take the TASP test.
Quick TASP is a program through which UTSA students can take TASP. Quick TASP dates are set by UTSA Testing Services and are offered on dates not usually corresponding to the statewide TASP dates.
For more information, contact UTSA Testing Services at (210) 458-4125.
