F.A.C.E.S., UTSA task force, CAB sponsor Safe Spring Break Week

(March 10, 2003)--The student organization F.A.C.E.S. (Finding Awareness by Creating Educated
Students)and the UTSA Alcohol and Other Drug/Crime Prevention (AOD/CP) Task Force will host two events on the UTSA 1604 Campus during Safe Spring Break Week.

The two events are to encourage students to have a healthy and relaxing Spring Break and to return safely.

The organizations will sell condom leis and give away mocktails from 10 a.m. to noon March 11 on the Sombrilla Plaza at the UTSA 1604 Campus. Everyone is invited to sample the tasty, alcohol-free party drinks.

F.A.C.E.S. and AOD/CP will host a Mini Health Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 12 on the Sombrilla Plaza. There will be free food and drinks, as well as other giveaway items to help students have a fun but safe spring break.

Additionally this week, the Campus Activities Board (CAB) will sponsor Casino Night from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 13 at the Sombrilla Plaza. The event includes free music, food, drinks, games and prizes.
 
CAB will host Casino Day at the UTSA Downtown Campus Durango Building Student Center from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, March 27. Everyone is invited to enjoy the free food, drinks, games and prizes.
