Scheduling, co-sponsorship of UTSA events requires approval
(May 21, 2003)--Those planning events at UTSA should note that co-sponsorship of an external group for a special event requires final authorization from the vice president for student affairs for 1604 Campus events or the vice provost for the Downtown Campus for Downtown Campus events.
Beginning in July, authorization for use of the newly constructed Durango Building Annex, which will house the Institute for Economic Development, must be received from the vice president for extended services. Failure to receive authorization may result in cancellation of an event.

At the Downtown Campus, call Frank Salazar at (210) 458-2411 or the Office of the Vice Provost for UTSA Downtown at (210) 458-2700.
These offices serve as a resource to assist sponsoring departments in planning and scheduling events. They also maintain a master calendar of campus events.
