Sciences advising center offers transfer information sessions

(May 29, 2003)--The UTSA College of Sciences Advising Center will host group advising sessions for students majoring in the sciences who have applied or are considering a transfer to UTSA.

The sessions offer prospective students information about registration, class schedules, degree requirements and transfer credits. Students who have applied and had transcripts evaluated by the Office of the Registrar will be given a completed degree plan, and will have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with an adviser in their major.

Space is limited to 15 students per session. Students can sign up for a session from 9 to 11 a.m. or 2 to 4 p.m. on these days:

Thursday, June 12
Monday, June 16
Thursday, June 19
Wednesday, July 2
Thursday, July 17
Friday, July 25
Thursday, July 31
Monday, Aug. 4
Friday, Aug. 8

To sign up for an information session, call the UTSA College of Sciences Advising Center at (210) 458-4045 or go to the center office in Science Building Room 2.01.08 on the 1604 Campus.
