Non-Course Based Instruction (NCB) provides small group instruction in Math, Reading, and Writing for students who have not passed a section of the Texas Success Initiative (college placement tests such as Accuplace or THEA). NCB is an alternative to regular developmental classes. Participating in NCB is restricted to students who meet certain criteria. Contact your academic advisor to see if you are eligible for NCB.
