Jessica was born and raised in San Antonio. She attended Sul Ross State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. After moving back to her hometown, she decided to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Counseling at UTSA. As a graduate student, she worked as a graduate assistant in the College of Education and Human Development. During this time, Jessica earned a position as a student mentor for the Tomás Rivera Center and discovered her great interest in helping college students. Currently, she is a COR 1203 instructor and advisor for the Academic Development Program. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys reading true crime novels and spending time with her family.
